task2

Over the past 10 years newspaper circulation has declined. Between years 1980 and 2000 people have slowly stopped reading newspapers due to online web pages; faster and cheaper. Young people spend less than 1.5 hours reading a newspaper whereas people over 60 spend over 5.3 hours with a newspaper. This is mostly due to the web, seeing as the web was introduced in 1957 younger people have been brought up to learn with the usage of the internet whereas older people have not had the chance to learn with it as well. Internet is not just receivable on the computer or laptop; it is now being used on the mobile phone, this is also a newer and easier way to view online pages of the newspapers. The news is also viewable on the TV, and not in black and white. Digital news offer a lot more richness such as audio, video, depth of analysis, and hardly takes up a lot of time.
